I was recently trying to add my SwitchBot devices to Google Home and ran into an issue. When adding my SwitchBot account to Google Home I get a notification within the Google Home App that my SwitchBot account was successfully added. However, when I go back to the home page of the Google Home App no SwitchBot devices appear.
Things that I have tried to solve this issue are as follows;
- Ensured that the SwitchBot Hub and Google Home are connected to 2.4GHz bandwidth Wi-Fi
- Tried syncing Google Home again
- Updated the SwitchBot Hub's firmware
All these methods did not resolve the issue. I was hoping that someone might have an idea on how to mitigate this problem.
