I’m just using it to turn on and off the immersion during cheap 3-hour window during the night. I had considered alternatives but went with SwitchBot as can keep sink/bath functionality and also very easy install.
I wasted one of the “off” switch add-ons due to not getting the position correct first time so it was great that there was a spare one of those and also a spare for the main sticker pad.

Very minor complaints would be delivery was a bit slow if needed in a hurry

SwitchBot Bot

I bought this for my wife’s ice machine. I wanted a convenient way for her to operate it when she’s either in the office working or on her way home from being out in town. This is my first SwitchBot product, but will definitely be getting more for my growing smart home. It was easy to set up and even easier to start an automation. Highly recommended.

I set up two Bots to push buttons for my Somfy window shade. The Bots are connected to a SwitchBot Hub 2, which works perfectly with Apple HomeKit. Now I just say, “Siri, shade up”, or “Siri, shade down” to move the shade. With HomeKit, the shade now is programmed to go up at sunset.

This configuration saved me hundreds of dollars, because I didn’t have to purchase a Somfy server, which would not work with HomeKit anyway.

Works 100%. The Somfy remote with the Bots is away in a cabinet, out of sight. We have a spare remote, and keep it handy, but haven’t needed to use it since finding this SwitchBot solution.

SwitchBot simplified my life. Everything got easier since I am using SwitchBot stuff !!!

SwitchBot Bot

I use it in Vietnam to turn on an off my normal lights through my smart speaker. It works well but it does have a little delay sometimes (maybe 3 seconds).

The SwitchBot Bot is a perfect solution to bringing smart home functionality to may situations.

We have a 3-way switch on our driveway lights and I could not find a cost-effective solution to add a smart switch to this circuit. Simply installed a SwitchBot Bot on one of the switches, connected to our Google Home and it works like a charm!

I also put a Bot on the switch for our oil-fired furnace/water heater. We heat with wood, so the only reason the furnace would run was to heat the water. We can now control it through Google Home to only run when we need hot water so the furnace stays off the rest of the time...saves money! The Bot was a cheaper and easier option than installing a smart switch.

Both switches have been in use since December without a glitch, and the batteries have not needed to be replaced.

I anticipate finding more ways to incorporate SwitchBot products into our smart home system.
