I needed a way to toggle on/off a lamp in one of the rooms in my house which I use for an evening automation routine. Sadly, older house with plaster walls, so not a lot of options for wiring a dedicated circuit. With this setup, I was able to add a wall-mounted switch to toggle on this floor lamp as I entered the room, and I installed another on the other side of the room to toggle it off as I leave. It continues to work with the current at-dust/at-dawn automation I have in place, and I like the audible feedback the switch provides when used! Love this product, and as with everything else Switchbot makes, the setup was a freaking snap! Why can't ALL home automation products work this easily?!

1. Press and hold both keys on your SwitchBot Remote, and you will see the LED indicator light starts flashing. 2. Hold both keys for 15 seconds and release prior to the light stops flashing. 3. Then your Remote will emit a beep sound and the indicator light will light up for 1.5 seconds. 4. Now your SwitchBot Remote has been reset to factory settings. If this does not work, please contact us by logging into the SwitchBot app > Profile > Feedback.
When setting up a Switchbot Lock/Dual-Lock with a SwitchBot Remote button, it's important to note that the locking and unlocking actions are automatically paired on the convex and concave buttons, respectively. This means that it's not possible to pair multiple smart locks with individual locking and unlocking actions to a single SwitchBot Remote button for security reasons.
