I originally bought the curtain 1 and it is not very quiet at all, and the silent mode is the same as the normal mode. But I am very pleased with the very quiet motor on this new model! It is awesome abs it feels like the switchbot team really listened to their users! Thank you tons!

These have changed my life, I no longer have to transfer into my wheelchair, wheel across the room (I can be in so much pain this can be impossible to do on a bad day!) sort the curtains and then go back and transfer back into my chair from my wheelchair!

The battery life seems incredible. The app is seamless (it’s a little fiddly to set up 2 SwitchBot on the same rail). The other one allows me to close my bedroom curtain on hot day etc!

Not quite so easy to setup, took about 30mins all together including that I have high certains so it was all done from a ladder

Good update powerwise vs version 2.
it is not very silent in normal mode. but a nicer sound than the version 2. In silent mode it is very silent, you cant hear it. But the downside is it goes very slow. I have a rail of 5.5meters, is takes about 30min to open or close. it is not possible to select a mode in between. That would be great.

Much more powerful and quieter than my old first gen curtain bot - capable of fully pushing and dragging my heaviest curtain on its own where the old one needed some manual help

Very easy to use. The APP works well and is intuitive. We had a pair of the Curtain 2's and were happy with them. However, sometimes one side of our curtains would get hung up - so we upgraded. The curtain 3's are quieter, faster, and work flawlessly opening and closing our curtains when they are programed to.

So far they are seemingly improved in every aspect. I have had every generation and this is the best yet. Smaller, more powerful and still quieter.
