Impressive Curtain Management
We have a very large window that takes two curtains to cover it hung in the same rod but from opposite directions. The SwitchBot Curtain 3 allows for simultaneous opening and closing of the curtains via mobile device or remote control and the solar panels keep them charged and ready for hassle free operation. The motors are very strong and the mounts provide a tight grip on the rod and can even manage to roll over seams where one rod is inserted into another. In our case, a little electrical tape over the seam allows the Curtain 3 to manage the seam effortlessly. Add the Switchbot Hub 2 and you’ll have all you need to enjoy and interface with the entire ecosystem.

I am a big fan of switchbot products, if you have some IT skills e.g then these their DIY solutions are just great and affordable. The blinds are not too hard to install and work well using the app and the sitchbot hub and I have set them up with the solar panels and a switch (remote). I started in the main living area and have ordered more for the bedrooms. The quiet drift mode is excellent,but the ability to just schedule when to close and open to take advantage of the suns position is fantastic. Love it

1 single SwitchBot Curtain 3 can run on up to 3 meters of track. If you have a track that is longer than 3 meters, it is recommended that you purchase two Curtain 3 devices.
SwitchBot Curtain 3 emits sound up to 45dB when used in Normal Mode, which is equivalent to the noise level of a library. If you want to experience a quieter opening and closing, you can turn on QuietDrift ™️ Mode, and noise will be reduced to 25dB.
SwitchBot Curtain 3 supports one side curtain control even in dual-open mode, you can control one side of your curtains in the device control page in our app.
The charging port of SwitchBot Curtain 3 is a Type C, identical to that of the original SwitchBot Curtain. Therefore, there's no issue in using the solar panel from the original SwitchBot Curtain with the SwitchBot Curtain 3. However, ensure that the solar panel is firmly secured with Velcro. This ensures the panel won't fall due to gravity or have the charging cable disconnected accidentally.
When using QuietDrift mode, the battery tends to drain quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to pair the use of QuietDrift with a solar panel.
