SwitchBot AI Stuido Function Privacy Agreement

Please read the following in addition to consenting to our App Privacy Policy (see Profile > Preference > About) so that you fully understand how we collect, transmit, use, and store your information when using the AI Stuido feature of the AI Art Frame, and how we protect that information. Please fully understand and agree to this policy. You have the right to refuse this policy; however, if you do so, we will be unable to provide you with the AI Stuido feature of the Art Frame.
Please note: This feature is for personal use only. Do not use it for any commercial purposes or in public environments, and do not use it to collect or use other people’s personal information or for unlawful purposes.
1. Collection of Personal Information
When you agree to enable this feature and activate a subscription plan, the App will transmit to our cloud servers— in encrypted form— the images or text you upload or select for AI Stuido, as well as style choices, parameters and other setting information you select for that creation, for storage and processing.
2. Transmission, Use, and Storage of Personal Information
Please be aware and agree that to enable the AI Studio functionality, the images you upload will be stored on cloud servers. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 storage service, and all images are encrypted in S3 using industry-standard methods (such as AES-256). Only individuals with access to your account (you and those you authorize) can view, download, or delete the images from the App. Neither we nor any unauthorized personnel are able to view your images.
In strict compliance with industry security standards, and based on lawful, legitimate, necessary, and specific purposes, we also engage third-party AI model service providers (hereinafter referred to as "Third Parties") to process the images, text, and settings information you upload to the cloud servers. As a result, your images, text, and settings information may be transmitted to countries or regions where these Third Parties' servers are located. The Third Parties will only process and transform your images and text algorithmically for the purpose of enabling the AI Studio functionality. They will not process or store any other personal information of yours, nor will they use your data for any other purposes.
Your images, text and setting information will be retained by the Third Parties only temporarily during processing and will be immediately deleted after processing is completed.
We will strictly comply with applicable laws governing the transfer of personal information between different countries/regions, regulate and supervise third-party data processing activities, and require third parties to strictly adhere to our data privacy protection measures and requirements through data protection agreements, written commitments, and stringent data processing policies to ensure the security of your data.
The generated content resulting from algorithmic processing (i.e., the images or text produced by the AI Stuido feature) will be transmitted to our cloud servers and then delivered from the cloud servers to your App, where it will be handled according to your choices. If you are not satisfied with the generated content, such content will not be saved to the Art Frame and will not be stored in the cloud. If you are satisfied with the generated content and save it to the Art Frame, the cloud servers will store that content so you can subsequently display, synchronize and manage it; you may view, download or delete it in the App.
The above data transmissions to our cloud servers are used solely to provide this feature—enabling data transfer, image display, cross-device synchronization, history, retrieval and content security—and will not be provided to any other third parties or used for other purposes.
Cloud servers will provide storage based on your subscription capacity and display period. When storage capacity reaches its limit, you will need to manually delete some images or text from the App. The Art Frame device may also create local temporary caches for offline or accelerated display; when the cache is full you may need to clear space manually. After you delete images or text from the App, we will, within a reasonable time, delete or anonymize them from the active systems and backups of our cloud servers. You have the right to refuse the above data processing and transfer methods, but please note this may affect your ability to use the AI Stuido feature.
3. Withdrawal of Consent
We fully respect your data rights. If you wish to cancel the AI Stuido feature or stop the collection and processing of the personal information described above, please turn off the AI Stuido feature in the App (and be sure to disable auto-renewal in subscription management; we will stop charging after the current subscription period). After the feature is turned off, we will no longer process new data under this policy; you may still export or delete existing content in the App. If you choose to (re)use the AI Stuido feature, that action will be deemed acceptance and acknowledgement of this policy, as it is a necessary precondition for providing the feature.
