AI Guard Privacy Policy

Please read the following additional terms after agreeing to our App Privacy Policy (see Profile - Preference - About), so that you can fully understand how we collect, transmit, use, and store your information when you use the AI Guard service, and how we protect such information. Please make sure that you fully understand and agree to this Policy. You have the right to refuse this Policy; however, if you do so, we will be unable to provide the AI Guard service to you.

Please note: This feature is intended for use only in a home environment. Do not use it for any commercial purpose or in any public environment, and do not use it to collect or use other persons' personal information or for any unlawful purpose.

1. Collection of Personal Information: After you agree to enable this feature and subscribe to a plan, the camera/Doorbell that supports this service will begin collecting your video footage and will use the AI model deployed locally on the camera to identify and detect whether a person is moving or whether there is any change in the image. Once a video of a triggering event is detected (that is, a person is found to be moving or the image changes), the camera will record the video occurring during the event and transmit some images from such videos to the cloud server in encrypted form. We specifically remind you that these images may involve personal information relating to you, your family members, and visitors, such as personal characteristics (including human body shape, facial features, and physical characteristics), behaviors and movements, the home environment, furniture, and household items, and may also include information about children.

2. Transmission and Use of Personal Information: On the cloud server, we use the deployed AI model to automatically identify images (including information such as human body shape, vehicle shape, pets, food, home furnishings, appliances, and objects) and perform analysis and processing, so as to generate structured data, including textual descriptions, to describe and display the course of the event. Such structured data will be transmitted to your App for storage and display. Based on such data, the App will retrieve the corresponding event video from the camera/Doorbell and, in light of the specific scenario, determine the local devices and action commands that need to be linked. You may conduct event searches, image-content searches, and link with local devices.

Please note that, in step 1 above, the video data collected by the camera/Doorbell will not be transmitted to any third party. In step 2 above, the image information and structured data processed on the cloud server will not be transmitted to any third party.

3. Storage of Personal Information: Images and structured data uploaded to the cloud server will be stored on the cloud server. You may view and download the event information stored in your App as needed. For the camera/Doorbell, the video footage it collects is stored on its built-in SD card. If the videos stored on the SD card reach the storage limit, the earliest event information will be automatically overwritten on a rolling basis when a new event occurs.

Depending on the purposes for which the data is used, we may anonymize your personal information during the transmission, use, and storage of the above information, so that you, as the personal information subject, cannot be identified and the structured data cannot be re-identified. For details regarding the storage of personal information, please refer to our App Privacy Policy.

4. Withdrawal of Consent: We fully respect your data rights. If you need to cancel the AI Guard service or stop the above collection of personal information, please directly disable the AI Guard service in the App (and please be sure to cancel your AI Guard service subscription; we will stop charging you after the current subscription cycle). The AI Guard feature will immediately cease to be available, and we will no longer collect or process your information in the manner described in this Policy. When you choose to use the AI Guard feature again, you will be deemed to have accepted and acknowledged this Policy, as this is a necessary prerequisite for us to provide this feature.
