Infrared Appliances (Air

-Con, TV etc.) & Google Home Step-by-Step Guide

Make sure your appliance (air conditioner, TV etc.) is already added to your hub appliance list and Google Home is ready. 


Check the name assigned to the appliance you want control whether readable. If it's readable go to the Step 3 directly otherwise change its name by following the Step 2.

Please note a catalog name like 'Air Conditioner' is also unavailable since Google Home will ask you which air conditioner you want to control.

Assign a readable name for this appliance, like "office air conditioner".

Open the Home control page in the "Google Home" app.

Add a new smart device in your Google Home app.

Select the "SwitchBot Smart Home" action then login your account information which used in the SwitchBot app to authorize Google to control.

Congratulations!

The Google Home integration is done and you are ready to control your appliance by the example words.

"Hey Google, turn off the office air conditioner."

"OK Google, set the office air conditioner to 26 degrees."

"OK Google, turn on the office television."
