I bought about 15 thermometers. 7 for my apartment and 8 for my elderly parents’ house. The 7 for my apartment are connected to a Hub Plus. I haven’t bought a Hub Plus for my parents’ house yet.
Can I change the ID name of the Hub Pluses so I can know in my app that one Hub Plus is “Parents” and one is “My apartment”?
I have added the 7 thermometers in my apartment to the Hub Plus and each thermometer settings has “Cloud Service=On”.
How do I access the data remotely? When I am away from the apartment I want to see the real-time temp/humidity and also the graphed readings of the changes. Like I can do when I am in my apartment with the app.
I want to be able to do the same with my parents home as they have dementia and sometimes make mistakes with the heating. I want to be able to see if they left a window open or had a heater up too high. I will know this by looking at the graphed readings of the units.
I bought the system because the advertising said “For maximum peace of mind, add a SwitchBot Hub for constant access and know the exact conditions at home from anywhere, via the Internet.” but it’s not obvious to me how to do it. There doesn’t seem to be any help article covering remote monitoring.
