New product requests

Firstly, instead of sticking a switchbot directly to a switch why not have a switchbot holder adhered to the switch you can then move your switchbot easily from location to location.

Secondly, I'd like a temperature sensor so that I can control my room heater using a switchbot to maintain a certain temperature.

I notice on the app that there is an option for adding "meters" but I can't find any other info on these...?

Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

1. Great idea! We have thought about that but it may increase the height of our bot. We will add this to SwitchBot 2.0 I think.

2. Haha, you got that! That's our new product - a temperature and humidity meter which is not released yet. We will keep you updated and maybe you can join beta test group!

Having setup my switchbots in on/off mode I've noticed that I can no longer manually operate the switch in question. How about putting a manual override button on the next generation of switchbots?

Also, as an alternative for the push/pull mode of operation to implement on/off functionality why not have a dual armature switchbot? you would obviously need to either have various sizes to cope with different size switches or have a switchbot with a manually adjustable inter armature distance.

Finally can I just say that your community forum may be great on a PC, laptop etc it is however absolutely hopeless trying to use it on a smartphone. Have tried various browsers on the phone but all are US. Try it yourself and you'll see just how bad it is...

1. Yes, we will add this in the next version.

2. Yes, we have discussed this having a version dedicated for a light switch. But as you mentioned the trouble is the light switch size deviations. So a smart design is required.

3. Sorry about this... We are using a standard forum from WIX so the mobile end is not implemented properly. We will check this and see what we can do to improve. Thanks.

I have a number of different kinds of smart devices assigned to particular rooms in my google home, including switchbots. when I give a specific command for a switchbot, it works fine, but if I give a room level command, such as, turn on all the living room lights, all of the devices in the living room respond, except for the switchbot (even though they are most definitely assigned to that room in Google home). This occurs in every room where I have a switchbot, and all batteries are fine on the switchbots, so this is a program level issue. please tell me how to fix this, or if you are already aware that this is an issue that you are working on currently.

La télécommande freebox semble être une telecommande radio et non IR. Impossible de l’ajouter au hub ??
