Hub LED Brightness Control / Dimming

Currently, brightness control of the Hub (I have a Hub Plus) is severely limited. I actually think the glow-cloud makes for an adorable sculpture, a tribute to my internet nerd roots, and I love displaying it as a centerpiece in my living room. But: the advertised “night light” benefit just doesn’t become workable without two key enhancements:

1. Changing the brightness of “rainbow mode,” not just single solid colors. I can find no way to do this. I love the spinning rainbow. It is mesmerizing and one of the Hub’s signature features, but I can’t leave it on if I can never dim how bright it is for darkened rooms or night.

2. Some way to automate the brightness of the Hub. This could be as simple as timers to dim it at night, but my ideal would be letting me hook it up to some kind of ambient light sensor or control the brightness of the light via IFTTT rules.

For me, 1 is most important. But 2 is necessary as well.

I have a number of different kinds of smart devices assigned to particular rooms in my google home, including switchbots. when I give a specific command for a switchbot, it works fine, but if I give a room level command, such as, turn on all the living room lights, all of the devices in the living room respond, except for the switchbot (even though they are most definitely assigned to that room in Google home). This occurs in every room where I have a switchbot, and all batteries are fine on the switchbots, so this is a program level issue. please tell me how to fix this, or if you are already aware that this is an issue that you are working on currently.

La télécommande freebox semble être une telecommande radio et non IR. Impossible de l’ajouter au hub ??
