I Just wanted to share how I used switchbot to control my electric bed remote using Alexa and Google assistant [switchbot hub required].
I am paralyzed and always wanted a way to control my electric bed remote.
When I discovered switchbot, I asked my caregiver to use an electric jigsaw to cut a hole in a piece of wood that is about 1 inch high [same height as the bed remote].
After inserting the bed remote in the created hole, align the switchbots adjacent to the buttons you need to control. In my case I aligned 3 switchbots to the head up and down and to the head vibration buttons [I don't need to control the foot at this time].
You might need to add a folded piece of paper on the remote buttons to make sure that the switchbots can reach the buttons.
I hope this might help someone in a similar situation.
